Background
AAG Investment Management Pty Ltd (AAGIM) is a sister company of Australian Agribusiness Group (AAG), which was founded in 1997. AAG is a recognised market leader in agri consulting, independent agri research and investment rating and investment management (through AAGIM).
AAG supports AAGIM with staff, resources, research and networks. This in turn allows AAGIM’s experienced staff to source and provide careful and profitable management for our Investor clients.
AAGIM is an experienced manager of funds in the agricultural sector. AAGIM provides a complete service for international and domestic investors, from the initial investment research and due diligence, through acquisition, management, performance improvement and disposal.
All of the funds invested through AAGIM are directly invested and managed. There is no pooling of client funds: specific allocations of capital are used to purchase specific properties evidenced by real freehold title. Management, reporting and returns are paid to the investor which owns these assets directly.
AAGIM manages funds of over AU$350 million, all of which has been invested in the Australian agri sector. Other than our “in development” fund, all of the capital managed by AAGIM returned a positive cash return and recorded positive capital growth in the calendar year ending December 31, 2008.
